RIG ON WHEELS AND ITS GLOBAL TEAM

Updated: Feb 2, 2023

Rig On Wheels Broker & Recruitment Services is a woman-owned truck driver recruiting agency founded in 2010 by Kameel E. Gaines and is celebrating its 13th anniversary in January 2023. It has always been believed that talent resides globally; all you need to do is find it. With that, ROW now has a global truck driver recruiting team in four countries, i.e., the USA, India, Canada, and the Philippines.

Global Team

Rig on Wheels has global truck driver recruiters with unique skills and expertise who recruit Class A CDL drivers in the United States for 50 different trucking companies. The global team has a deep understanding of the trucking industry and the needs of our clients, and we are committed to providing the highest level of customer service. This blog will discuss how Rig on Wheels feels about diversity and a global team.

WHY CHOOSE A GLOBAL RECRUITMENT TEAM?

Choosing a global team has many advantages. First, diversity is essential because it encourages us to think outside the box, challenge our assumptions, and become more creative in problem-solving. Also, the United States affects the world, and the world affects the United States. Therefore, we must think more expansively than just the country we reside in, as it can provide access to a broader range of talent, skills, and perspectives, which can help to create a more innovative team. Our recruiting staff represents the drivers we recruit.

Another reason is the business aspect. Working with a global team can reduce costs, as hiring remote workers from other countries can provide a more considerable profit margin. This is a win-win situation because people get a handsome salary in their currency and the company profits in its currency. Hence, having a global team is beneficial not only for the company but also for employees.

Rig On Wheels has a global team; hence, it is a multilingual and multicultural recruitment agency for truck drivers. Even though diversity comes with differences, when you work with such a diverse group, you know that there are many more similarities. Therefore, the global team is What is Rig On Wheels Thankful For.

KEEPING UP WITH THE GLOBAL TEAM

Staying connected and organized is one of the most critical components of working with a global team that provides truck driver recruiting services. First, a regular meeting plan is vital for staying in touch with a global team. Secondly, it is critical that team members communicate effectively, as this will help guarantee that everyone is on the same page and working toward the same goal. Likewise, technology is an essential partner in supporting any company in keeping up with the global team. Finally, it is critical to be adaptable and mindful of any cultural differences among team members. By following these tips, you will maintain the success and productivity of your multinational team.

We use the following communication mediums at Rig On Wheels Broker & Recruitment Services. "The Global Recruitment Team Black Box," as we've dubbed it. The black box includes Google Meet for scheduled and spontaneous meetings, Monday.com for project management, RingCentral for a cloud-based phone system, WhatsApp for personal phone use, and Lastpass password storage. Take note that Google Workspace serves as a foundation for everything. This allows everyone to interact and communicate more effectively. To avoid separation, recruiters from the US headquarters attend meetings using the same online platform as recruiters from the other three countries, ensuring that there is no separation between the countries. Diversity offers synergy to the agency, allowing us to serve our truck drivers better. Furthermore, each team member attends daily virtual meetings to discuss performance and seek support with any challenges they may face.

Additionally, employees at Rig on Wheels are at ease talking about their identities, backgrounds, and unique job experiences. Not only does the team discuss work-related issues, but the team members have become so comfortable with each other that they can openly discuss any issues without any problem or fear of being judged. This is precisely what a diverse team's real spirit looks like!

CONTRIBUTION OF THE GLOBAL TEAM TO THE COMPANY'S GROWTH

Global teams are a huge asset in promoting organizational progress and successfully recruiting truck drivers. International teams can bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, and perspective to the table by bringing together people from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds. This can help a driver recruitment agency to develop new ideas, strategies, and solutions that can help them to grow and expand. Global teams also help to foster a sense of unity and collaboration within the organization, as well as to increase the diversity of the workforce. All these factors can help any truck driver recruiting agency to grow and succeed in the long run.

With ROW being multicultural and multilingual, it has more awareness, making it more robust for recruiting truck drivers. Also, since drivers speak different languages, having people who speak the same language is advantageous. We want drivers to feel represented and comfortable talking to someone who has the same native tongue as them than talking with someone else. This also encourages them to choose your company over others. The global and diverse team has led to growth based on representation, and Rig on Wheels went from $177k in yearly revenue to $500k in 6 months.

EQUALITY, DIVERSITY, AND INCLUSION

Rig On Wheels believes that equality, diversity, and inclusion are important values that organizations should embrace. These are essential in creating a safe and welcoming environment for all Class A CDL drivers, regardless of their background, and a more comfortable workplace for diverse truck driver recruiters. This helps ensure everyone is respected and valued, regardless of background, identity, or beliefs, leading to a thriving workforce.

Many people are of the view that diversity comes with adversity. Though it may be true in some instances, and it might take some time for the employees to familiarize themselves and adapt to all the cultures, it is always worth it. But it is essential to educate yourself first because "people are people all over the world," and talent knows no color.

Promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace can help create a more innovative and creative environment, leading to increased productivity and collaboration. In addition, promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion can create a more productive global workforce.

At Rig on Wheels, we are incredibly proud to have a global team of experienced truck driver recruiters dedicated to helping the companies hiring CDL drivers locate the finest truck drivers possible and the best trucking jobs for our truck drivers at the same time. Diversity is one of the secrets to success in our line of business. This diversity makes Rig on Wheels unique from other truck driver recruiting agencies.
